About Janet

Does being outside give you a sense of peace and joy? Do you find calm writing, listening or making music, painting, or dancing? Does your mind settle when you work on a puzzle, play with Legos, or build a Marble Maze?

In my 15 years experience of working in schools, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric hospitals, and in private practice, I’ve made one observation: ages 9 to 90, we all enjoy fun. For some of us, we have to find our fun for the first time. For others, we have to recapture it.

We can use the things you enjoy to help quiet your mind, and find healing by processing in a way that’s comfortable for you.

I look forward to listening to you in our sessions outdoors, in-office or via Telehealth.
