I offer compassionate counseling services for teens and women. I truly believe therapy should not be intimidating. I utilize a client centered approach as I believe people are the experts of their own lives and know what works and doesn’t work for themselves. I also utilize a CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) approach believing that one’s thoughts often fuel their actions. If someone can change some faulty thought processes then they can often begin to see genuine change.

I have experience with trauma and many adolescent issues, as a previous school counselor. I have worked with women heavily on issues they face, and have past experience with domestic violence victims. I have a lot of outpatient experience working with women on parenting and relationship issues. As the mom (and a former school counselor) of a child with ADHD I understand the unique challenges this brings, and can provide support to parents walking through this, as well as, working with teens providing support and suggestions for ways to navigate this.

I feel that former clients and families have stated that I am easy to talk to, make therapy non-intimidating, and they feel I truly care. I take what I do very seriously.
