About Alexandra

If you’re looking for a mental health provider who is a bit “crunchy” when it comes to holistic and alternative approaches to mental health care then I may be a good fit for you! I like to take my time with each patient so that they can share their story, their goals, and their hopes for their best health. I believe mental health is more than just what happens within your brain; it’s connected to every part of who you are and needs to be supported holistically for the best outcomes.

I have experience with patients across age ranges, from children to elderly adults. I have worked extensively in women’s health, specifically perinatal health, prior to becoming a PMHNP. I have experience helping patients with a variety of mental health challenges, including treatment resistant depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, PTSD and trauma-related challenges, through pharmacotherapy and brief psychotherapy. I love incorporating nutritional psychiatry into my practice as well.

I believe medications are an important tool when it comes to addressing mental health symptoms, but they are not the only tool nor the first tool that is always necessary to use. I like to look at my patients from a holistic perspective and work with them to design treatment plans that best address the root causes of their symptoms, is realistic to incorporate into their daily life, and fits within their financial budget.
